Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? At Wingate located in the heart of Bossier City, LA, we’re looking for a dedicated Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure our property remains a welcoming and well-maintained space for our guests. If you have at least one year of experience and take pride in your craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As our Hotel Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of our property. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel’s systems and equipment are in top shape.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
  • Addressing guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they arise.
  • Collaborating with the management team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
