Job Description:


- Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) ready to make a difference?
- Join our team and engage in direct patient care while showcasing your clinical expertise!
- In this role, you will:
- Triaging patients, obtaining patient history, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assess patients and act independently to provide immediate care in life-threatening situations.
- Provide care for both acutely ill and non-acute patients.
- Perform various nursing procedures and assist physicians as needed.
- Offer comfort and psychological support to patients, families, and visitors.
- Deliver discharge and follow-up instructions to patients and their families.
- Answer ambulance radios and give appropriate pre-hospital care orders without assistance.
- Work with sophisticated medical equipment and handle diverse patient situations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


- Perform nursing assessments, intervene appropriately, and participate in care planning (25%).
- Regularly assess patients' needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed (25%).
- Process physician/provider orders accurately and promptly (20%).
- Evaluate treatment plan effectiveness and suggest improvements (15%).
- Collaborate with team members to update and revise treatment plans continuously (15%).

Submission Requirements:


- Minimum 2 years of ER Experience (REQUIRED)
- Travel Experience (PREFERRED)
- Epic Experience (PREFERRED)
- Work History
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (ER) - (REQUIRED) [DOCUMENT]
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms completed within the last two years - (REQUIRED) [DOCUMENT]
- Active American Heart Association BLS - (REQUIRED) [DOCUMENT]
- Active American Heart Association ACLS - (REQUIRED) [DOCUMENT]
- LARA and/or Nursys must state Active Michigan/MI License - (REQUIRED) [DOCUMENT]
