Pines Village is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to lead our 66-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. This full-time leadership position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care while supporting and developing a strong clinical team. Position Summary The Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily nursing operations for a 66-bed skilled nursing unit. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff. Oversee payroll and scheduling of team members Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner while providing key feedback for success for team members Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes. Conduct resident assessments and participate in care planning. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident transitions. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Foster a positive, resident-centered environment. Qualifications Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care. Commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
