Job Purpose and Summary The Small Tools Delivery Driver transports items in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers products to field crews in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains relations with the field crews.
• Reviews and verifies requests to ensure accuracy.
• Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
• Contacts crews to confirm delivery details.
• Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews.
• Maintains delivery logs and records.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have a Class A CDL and Med Card.
• Forklift or loader experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Must know how to properly secure items to a truck/trailer.
• Experience with weigh stations and knowledge of weight restrictions and requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

Working Environment:

• Hours for the position are Monday-Friday ranging from the hours of 7am-5pm (end time can vary due to the number of deliveries), as well as on call status, and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be willing to occasionally travel to Idaho and the Tri Cities region.
• For this position, an individual must be physically able to perform assigned tasks, and be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 40 lbs. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $28 - $32.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).
