Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Establish and nurture a positive, trusting therapeutic relationship with each client. \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. \n
- Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to additional specialists when needed to provide integrated care. \n
- Utilize clinical tools and evidence-based methodologies to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. This may include clients dealing with stressful life transitions, trauma, addiction recovery, and interpersonal relationship issues. Your expertise and empathetic approach will help clients navigate their unique circumstances and foster resilience in their lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois. \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. \n
- Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable. \n
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices related to mental health and substance abuse treatment. \n
- Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate clients towards positive change. \n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for working effectively within a team and with clients. \n
While the mandatory qualifications focus on licensure and relevant education, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, family dynamics, and integrative treatment methodologies are preferred. Familiarity with digital health tools and teletherapy is also beneficial, given the remote nature of our service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
