Wealth Management Strategic Risk Officer Location: Tulsa, OK, US, 74101 Areas of Interest: Wealth Management; Risk Management Pay Transparency Salary Range: Not Available Application Deadline: 07/03/2026 Job Description The Senior Strategic Risk Officer is responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate and monitor the first line operational and strategic risk. In partnership with Enterprise Risk Management, develops tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report line of business risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework. Ensures the Wealth Management division’s risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization. Establishes the Risk Management architecture for the division / line of business. Oversees or monitors all operational risk management activities of the division / line of business. Monitors and analyzes risks within the line of business units and reports on these risks to the Senior and Executive Fiduciary Officers. Chairs or provides key inputs into Wealth Management Division line of business risk or other committees that oversee the risk management process and ensures alignment with division and organizational objectives. Possesses intimate knowledge of internal business processes and the division / line of business industry. Exhibits business process knowledge, broad based operational perspective and provides solutions for non-insurance related business risk issues. Recognized risk leader, dynamic, proactive, decisive. Adapts well to and initiates change in the organization. Seeks ways to optimize risks in the organization as a competitive business advantage. Key traits: highly developed communications, team player, change agent, strategic and creative, excellent project management skills and ability to drive performance from all areas within the company. The Senior Strategic Risk Officer will serve as a liaison between the business unit and Wealth Compliance, internal audit, external audit, OCC, and ITC, and will serve on committees that oversee processes and procedures related to strategic direction and risk management. This position is responsible for surveying and staying knowledgeable about the competitive marketplace. Advises on the right product set solutions and technology solutions we should be delivering, our target market, and competitive pricing levels. How You'll Spend Your Time You will oversee fiduciary and corporate trustee risk processes, strengthening governance, accountability, and control effectiveness. You will stay current on regulations and industry trends to guide Wealth Management teams. You will advise senior leadership on risk matters while driving continuous improvement across oversight practices. You will serve as a liaison between Wealth Management and risk, compliance, and audit partners to ensure alignment. You will provide strategic insight on market trends, product offerings, target clients, and pricing. You will lead or support risk initiatives and technology projects to enhance the control environment. Education & Experience Requirements This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree and 12-15 years of fiduciary and / or corporate trustee knowledge and experience with Wealth relationships, or 15+ years equivalent experience. Preferred: Masters in Business Administration. Advanced and extensive knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the specific business line supported. Advanced understanding of critical trust operations requirements to recognize logistical issues in trust documents. Advanced and extensive knowledge and experience to properly review and interpret legal agreements (trust agreements, bond trust indentures, loan agreements, escrow agreements). Proven ability to analyze highly complex information and data to develop and recommend solutions in challenging projects. Excellent oral, written and communication skills, including interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation skills including presenting in front of a group. Excellent leadership and management skills. Excellent customer service attitude. Excellent organizational skills with ability to work with strict time frames and critical client demands. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Office.
