Opportunity:

Physician (MD) - Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Pediatrics - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide on-site coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


• Weekend on-call coverage from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM


• Weeknight on-call coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM


• Board certification required with fellowship training (2 years)


• PALS certification required


• Expertise in neonatal-perinatal medicine and pediatric critical care medicine


• Proficiency in ventilation management for newborns and pediatric patients, both invasive and non-invasive


• Experience with intubation, conscious and deep sedation procedures


• Competency in central line, arterial line, UVC, and UAC placement


• Skilled in diagnostic procedures including lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis


• Ability to perform chest tube insertion and needle pneumothorax decompression


• Experience with X-ray and EKG interpretation


• Knowledge of ECMO, nitric oxide use, and exchange transfusions preferred


• Level II/III NICU experience preferred


• Attendance at C-sections including high-risk deliveries required
