This is an opportunity to provide essential support to students, families, and educational teams in a dynamic school environment near Mckeesport, PA. We have two full-time, onsite positions available, each offering a unique and impactful experience.

Opportunities include:

• Supporting emotional and behavioral needs at the McMurray Campus, working with both emotional support programs and the partial hospitalization program (start ASAP, assignment through December 2026, subject to extension).
• Serving as a long-term substitute in the California Area School District from October 2026 through the end of January 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field
• Active PA State License
• PDE Educational Specialist Certification is preferred; if not currently held, candidates can be assisted in obtaining an emergency certificate
• Experience in school-based or youth-focused social work highly valued
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Adaptability and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services and crisis intervention to students
• Support and educate students facing emotional or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to promote student well-being
• Develop and implement individualized support plans
• Act as a liaison between the school, community resources, and families
