Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll help create a welcoming experience while managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and supporting our medical staff with administrative needs.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Collect and verify insurance information and patient demographics
Maintain and organize patient records and documentation
Process payments and co-pays
Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
