Interventional Radiologist

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Clinical Radiology Division is seeking an Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR hybrid) to join its team at UPMC Altoona. Practice Info Work at a busy community hospital Employed by UPMC UPP Clinical Radiology Division Philips VuePACS and Powerscibe with EPIC EMR Part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s 40+ hospital network 400-bed regional tertiary health care system for residents in central Pennsylvania Joint Commission certified thrombectomy capable stroke center with 24/7 care and a renowned interventional neurology program Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures required in a community hospital Compensation $100K sign-on bonus Associated Overnight Call (IR only and compensated supplementally at $5k/week) $600K base salary, paid IR call, plus lucrative incentive plan bringing compensation to $730K-$850K+ Option to earn significant additional income Benefits Outstanding benefit package including health, dental, vision and pension Generous CME allowance & PTO Relocation assistance (up to $10k reimbursed) Shift & Schedule 7-on, 7-off Scheduling or traditional schedule with 9 weeks PTO Qualifications Must have an MD or equivalent BC or BE in Radiology Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license Must be proficient in interventional radiology procedures required in a community hospital Visa sponsorship available
