Registered Nurse, CVICU/CTICU (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, CVICU/CTICU (Night Shift) in White Plains, New York.

Location: White Plains, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with guaranteed hours of 34.5 per week.

Job Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) or Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), responsible for managing fresh open heart cases on post-operative day zero in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will utilize the EPIC charting system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU/CTICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system.

Required Experience:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous experience in a CVICU or CTICU setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification is also required.
