Production and Sales Order Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for precise entry verification and upkeep of data within spreadsheets and data bases while also ensuring that all customer needs and specifications are fulfilled.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (List the primary duties and responsibilities of the job. This should not be a task list or desk procedures but the top 5 to 7 responsibilities of the job. List the duties in descending order of impact/time. Each function should begin with a verb such as Creates Develops Performs etc.)
- Enter text and numerical data into spreadsheets and databases
- Transfer data from various sources into digital formats
- Maintain and update existing data in spreadsheets and databases
- Perform data reporting
- Correct errors or discrepancies in data
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Years of experience: 1-2 years
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Data Entry
- Analyzing Data
- Strong attention to detail and organization
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- none
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly walks sits stands and does computer work.
Seldom/Never lifts up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
