Field Service Technician I

About the Role Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional service standards while performing routine maintenance on Canon-supported products. The role involves supporting customers, maintaining equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with service and parts standards. Your Impact Reporting product failure trends and serviceability issues to management with required documentation, ensuring accurate record keeping. Meeting customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on‑site maintenance. Maintaining all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property. Showcasing strong customer communication and satisfaction skills. Ensuring the performance of assigned machines. Facilitating performance to help achieve branch/district overall metric targets. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring This is a customer‑facing role that requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination and related measures. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent experience (required). Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and be able to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class. Ability to travel; a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Required to obtain all security and/or other clearances needed to enter customers’ premises. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). Workstyle Description Full‑time, on‑site. This position requires full‑time presence at the assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled work days. Benefits Compensation: $19.00–$26.31 hourly. Eligible for a transportation allowance.
