Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $3,006 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating

EMR: Epic

Floating: Yes, as needed

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation

Minimum 1–2+ years MedSurg/Telemetry experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Clinical Expectations

• RNs must independently identify and interpret cardiac rhythms every 4 hours (Q4).
• No central monitor technician; telemetry monitors are located on the unit.

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Gynecology (GYN) Surgery
• Vascular Procedures
• Heart Failure
• Chest Pain
• Pneumonia (PNA)
• Cellulitis
• Pancreatitis
• Alcohol Withdrawal

Medications & Therapies

• Heparin
• Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
• Lasix
• Cardizem
• Non-titrating drips
• Established protocols for all drips
