Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This position is for the night shift, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in a 600+ bed academic hospital setting, with proficiency in DoD Epic electronic health record systems. This role requires compliance with competency testing within 24 hours of submission.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with protocols and best practices.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Monitor patient health and report any concerns to the healthcare team.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a large academic hospital setting with a passing competency testing score.
• 2 years of experience may be considered without the need for testing.
• Epic experience is required for this position.
