Remittance Processing Specialist - 1st Shift - $1000 Retention Bonus

Job Duties This position will work with a team to enter data that supports the customer remittance segment of the business. The individual will also be expected to spend a portion of time working with production departments completing shipping, bindery and other production tasks. Successful candidates will work in a collaborative environment, working toward common production and quality goals. Operate equipment such as Opex scanners, envelope openers, PCs and other. Identify and sort cash, check, and credit card payments; check for incorrectly sorted items and process rejects as needed. Open, scan, process and store transactions as required by client. Determine if OCR documents can be processed. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Cross‑train and learn to perform other job functions within operations as needed; support operations and contribute to team results by performing other production or related jobs as required. Perform direct production to assure achievement of plant KPI results in areas of greatest need as assigned. Demonstrate maximum efficiency and accuracy in all work areas assigned. Document actions by completing production, quality, and other records as required. Basic Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications High School/GED. Prior experience in production operations. Experience with Opex scanners and envelope openers. Compensation The compensation range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 hourly. The base pay varies depending on location, experience and internal equity.
