This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population, providing essential therapy services across several schools situated within easy reach of each other. Each day you’ll focus on one site, allowing for dedicated attention and strong relationships with staff and students.

In this full-time position, you’ll help students achieve their goals and thrive throughout the remainder of the school year, with the assignment extending until June 2027. The collaborative, supportive learning atmosphere is ideal for therapists who enjoy dynamic, student-centered environments.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need:

• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of South Carolina
• Experience or interest in working in a school-based, pediatric, or K-12 setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to multiple schools within close proximity (one site per day)
• Adaptability to work with a range of ages and student needs

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as assigned
• Evaluating student needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and setting measurable goals
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student success and functional independence
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Traveling between assigned school sites (within a defined, manageable area)
