Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Hudson, Ohio - On-Site
Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 depending on expereince

Position Overview
The Senior Staff Accountant will support the accounting team through month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, contribute to process improvements, mentor junior team members, and work closely with leadership on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (Senior Staff Accountant)

• Support the month-end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting activities
• Prepare and review account reconciliations while ensuring balance sheet accuracy
• Assist with inventory, cash, receivables, payables, and other core accounting functions
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications (Senior Staff Accountant)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Experience with process improvements, financial analysis, and internal controls
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with excellent analytical and communication abilities
