Sanitation AssociateSURESTAFF is immediately hiring Sanitation Associates for a large, well-known client in Bedford Park, IL. The Sanitation Associate is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment in the food processing facility.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16.50-17/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include:1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm2nd shift: 4:00pm-12:30amResponsibilities of the Sanitation Associate:Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, organized and safe manner at all times, and follow all health and safety regulations.Maintain the cleanliness and food safe environment of the production areas and equipment in the food processing facility.Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility.Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis.Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber.Clean and wipe down racks and metal tables on a daily basis.Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and three department sinks.Clean, empty and sanitize all garbage gondolas on a daily basis.Clean all food manufacturing machinery according to SOP's.Various other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications of the Sanitation Associate:Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.2+ years of experience working in the food industry.General high school degree, or equivalent.Able and willing to work in refrigerated coolers (~38_F).Able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.About Surestaff:At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
