Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Homestead, Florida

A one-year contract position with potential for extension or permanent placement is available for a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist in a pediatric outpatient clinic located in Homestead, Florida. This role focuses on providing individualized therapy to children ages 2 to 18, primarily addressing mild to moderate speech and language challenges. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, evaluations, and ongoing therapy for pediatric clients Provide one‑on‑one speech therapy sessions, emphasizing pragmatic skills, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing delays, articulation, and support for children with high‑functioning autism Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and treatment planning tailored to each child's needs Qualifications and Experience: Valid SLP certification with Clinical Certification in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) Pediatric experience, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion Familiarity with school‑based therapy and outpatient pediatric settings Expertise in working with autism spectrum disorders and language‑based learning difficulties Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Location: The position is based in Homestead, South Florida, offering access to a vibrant community and supportive clinical environment.
