Hastings offers a peaceful small-town setting in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. The area provides excellent outdoor recreation opportunities and is conveniently located with access to both Pittsburgh and Latrobe airports for easy travel.

Facility:
This healthcare system operates two medical facilities providing comprehensive emergency and family medicine services to the local community. Both locations feature dedicated emergency departments with 24-hour support services including anesthesia, surgery, laboratory, and radiology services, ensuring complete patient care capabilities.

Opportunity:
Physician - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Coverage needed at two facilities
• Scheduled shifts available from May 2026 through July 2026 with both day and night coverage
• Day shifts: 6AM-6PM and 7AM-7PM depending on facility
• Night shifts: 6PM-6AM and 7PM-7AM depending on facility
• Preference given to providers who can cover dates at both facilities
• Must maintain active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification
• Board certification required in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with ED experience or Emergency Medicine
• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Clean malpractice history and NPDB preferred
• Level 4 trauma facility with comprehensive support services available 24/7
• Emergency department receives newborn deliveries with L&D department on-site
• Family medicine skills preferred including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care
• Patient encounters vary per shift
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• Lodging available in Altoona area

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
