Account Manager, Select Sales

It’s a challenging goal, but we have a winning team that is looking to grow.The Account Manager, Select Sales will be responsible for building relationships and helping enterprises leverage C Spire’s arsenal of solutions into an IT strategy that helps them win the battle in their specific market. We provide voice, Internet, data, and cloud solutions to business and government accounts. All are clearly best-in-class. With the full backing of our industry-leading marketing department and the award-winning IT teams, you’ll have all the tools you need to convert leads into long-term allies.Responsibilities:What You Will DoIn all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.Prospecting, account acquisition, and account management.Maximize income through business-to-business sales with growth-oriented companies.Foster collaborative and lasting relationships with the customers and communities we serve.The sales process will include managing lead lists, networking, customer appointments, referrals, and door-to-door sales generation.Meet/exceed assigned targets associated with sales productivity.Qualifications:What You Will BringAs a C Spire team member, you will bring a relentless obsession to be the best in our industry and a winning mentality, determined to outsmart and outdo competitors. To support our Select Sales team, you will have an unapologetic passion for innovation and technology and an uncompromising drive toward continuous improvement.In addition to that, we require:Five (5) or more years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience with demonstrated revenue results in a Managed Services environment.Support customers through a Value‑Added Reseller (VAR) sales model, delivering bundled technology solutions and services that maximize customer value and long-term retention.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas.Strong consultative selling skills including needs discovery, objection handling, and closing.Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking (CRM experience preferred).Reliable transportation.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong relationship-building abilities with clients and partners.Highly organized with strong time management skills.Ability to work flexible hours as needed.We will give special consideration to candidates who have:Experience in B2B and partner-led sales environments.Experience managing multiple territories simultaneously.Experience in telecommunications, MSP, or technology-driven industries.What You Will GainA great workplace needs more than dental coverage, though we provide that and excellent health insurance.
