Rehab Therapy Aide

Job TitleAssists therapists in providing treatment with a wide variety of illnesses and disabilities to help patients achieve a maximum level of independence. Performs assigned tasks in areas of direct and non-direct patient care. All patient care responsibilities are under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapist assistant.Position Qualifications (Minimum Qualifications Are Required Unless Stated Otherwise.)Experience:Knowledge in medical terminology required.Ability to comprehend, speak and write the English language. Knowledge in medical terminology required.Education and Training:HS graduate or equivalent.Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and other health care providers required.Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple job tasks on a daily basis to meet the needs of the department required.Knowledge of PC's preferred.Other Requirements:Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
