Maintenance Supervisor

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations within a fast-paced production facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, leading maintenance teams, improving preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong maintenance leader who enjoys being on the floor, developing teams, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Maintenance Technicians and contractors across plant operations
• Drive a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA, LOTO, confined space, arc-flash, and related safety standards
• Coordinate and prioritize planned and unplanned maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives
• Support troubleshooting and repair efforts involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and automation systems
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Production teams to improve plant performance
• Manage employee performance, coaching, training, scheduling, and development
• Ensure proper inventory, parts, tools, and resources are available to support maintenance activities
• Assist with equipment installs, facility upgrades, plant projects, and contractor management
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reporting, and operational data to support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Working knowledge of:
• Hydraulics & pneumatics
• Power distribution & electrical systems
• Welding & fabrication
• Millwright and machinist practices
• Blueprint reading
• Preventative maintenance systems
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered
