Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview Maintenance Mechanic – JLL Ensure operational excellence of JLL‑managed facilities by supporting inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. Key Responsibilities Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipment. Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. Execute general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doors. Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repair as directed by management. Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, and change filters and belts to ensure optimal system performance. Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems and submit P‑card receipts daily. Comply with all safety procedures, complete required safety trainings, conduct vehicle safety inspections, and promptly report issues to customers and managers. Required Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. 1–3 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systems. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Valid licenses as required by local authorities. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, and climb ladders up to 30 ft. while carrying a tool bag weighing ~20 lbs. Capacity to work in adverse conditions including extreme cold and hot environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Familiarity with Hazard Assessments and compliance with State, County, or City ordinances, codes or laws. Knowledge of hazardous material storage, use, and disposal. Defensive driving training or certification. Experience moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment within a commercial facility. Background in facility operations or property management. Basic troubleshooting of HVAC systems and building automation controls. Location & Shift Location: Tucson, AZ (On‑site). Shift: Wed–Sat, 6:00am–4:30pm. Other Information No visa sponsorship.
