As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients through meaningful interactions. You will provide essential services that help patients achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs continuously and adjusting care plans as necessary based on any changes in the patient's condition. Additionally, you will oversee the clinical activities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) on a daily basis.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements- Completion of a nursing diploma (either an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state, with an obligation to maintain an active license in good standing throughout your employment
- Preferred: At least one (1) year of experience in skilled nursing
- CPR certification required upon hire or to be obtained during orientation; certification must remain current throughout employment
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
- Utilize reasoning skills and sound judgment effectively
- Communicate and collaborate efficiently within an interdisciplinary team
