Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) RN for a Level III Trauma Center to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for trauma and urgent care patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans for trauma and urgent care cases.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, recognizing signs of deterioration and responding promptly.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in the EMR system.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurse aides and paramedics, to deliver seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with active registration.
• Possess at least 4 years of experience as an ER nurse in Level I-III trauma centers.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR and trauma nursing protocols.
• Have experience caring for trauma, behavioral health, and critical care patients.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
