Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd shift

Supervisor, Skilled Trade Workers Individual will supervise and coordinate activities of skilled trade workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings and grounds in a large fresh poultry complex. Specifically: Ensure that USDA, QA and plant management standards on quality, production, safety and ergonomics are met. Ensure that direct reports are properly trained to ensure proper operations, preventative maintenance and repairs procedures. Schedule, supervise and coordinate associates engaged in installing, servicing and repairing mechanical equipment. Maintain preventative maintenance programs and procedures. Responsible for controlling costs within the department and ensure maintenance budget responsibilities are met. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) plus 3-5 years of food plant maintenance experience is required. Additionally: Must exhibit strong knowledge of PLC’s and electrical systems Must have working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems Must be proficient in pipe fitting, plumbing, welding hydraulics, pneumatics and automatic equipment (setup & repair) Excellent mathematical and analytical ability.
