Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic In-Home Housekeeper to provide exceptional residential cleaning and housekeeping services. In this vital role, you will ensure that our clients’ homes are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Include:

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all living spaces.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while following proper handling protocols.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Use cleaning equipment effectively for tasks like carpet shampooing, polishing floors, and surface sanitation.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide tailored housekeeping services that meet their expectations.
• Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled appointments while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, windowsills, and outdoor areas if applicable.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to janitorial work, including proper use of cleaning agents and manual handling procedures.
• Maintain organized supplies inventory and report any maintenance or supply needs promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred; familiarity with housekeeper management is a plus.
• Proven ability in residential housekeeping tasks such as dusting, floor cleaning, laundry, and surface sanitation.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, janitorial equipment, carpet cleaning methods, and outdoor work experience is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their specific preferences and needs.
• Experience in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or appointments.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
• Familiarity with outdoor work environments can be beneficial for properties with outdoor spaces requiring maintenance or cleaning.
• Physical Demands & Environmental ConditionsAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy mechanical machinery and equipment components weighing up to 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, at elevated heights, or within confined, restricted spaces (such as crawlspaces and utility closets).
• Capacity to remain standing, kneeling, crouching, or walking for long durations of a standard shift, both indoors and outdoors in variable weather.
