Catering Coordinator (Administrative Role)

A Catering Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Catering Sales and Conference Services team by handling administrative, organizational, and client-service tasks that ensure events are planned and executed smoothly.

Responsibilities include managing catering inquiries, preparing proposals and contracts, maintaining client records, coordinating event details, assisting with menu selections, scheduling site inspections, responding to client questions, generating reports, and supporting Catering Managers and the Director of Catering with administrative tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a bachelor's degree preferred, minimum three to five years of clerical experience, strong organizational and time-management abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering software, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Physical demands include moving objects up to 20 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, reaching overhead and below the knees, using office equipment, communicating effectively, and maintaining visual acuity.
