Logistics Management Analyst

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for a contract opportunity in Fort Bragg, NC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

Ability to quickly diagnose issues with equipment and perform repairs under pressure. Proficiency in using tools for basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Maintenance & Inspection: Regularly inspect, clean, and repair specialized SAR equipment, including ropes, harnesses, radios, personal protective equipment (PPE), and medical kits to meet safety standards. Vehicle & Specialized Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, trailers, ATVs, boats, or snowmobiles, such as checking fluids, tire pressure, and ensuring emergency lighting is functional. Facility Maintenance: Maintain the SAR station or facility, including cleaning, lighting, heating/HVAC systems, and general repairs to ensure a safe working environment. Inventory Management: Track and order necessary supplies, parts, and safety gear, ensuring replacements are on hand to prevent downtime. Safety Compliance: Ensure all gear and facilities comply with safety regulations, such as checking fire alarms, emergency exits, and proper hazardous material storage. Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety checks on all equipment and vehicles. Emergency Response Support: Ensure all critical equipment is loaded or ready for deployment immediately upon request.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift heavy rescue gear (often over 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

An accredited high school diploma or equivalent is typical, with specialized training in mechanics or technical maintenance preferred.
