Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Proven experience supporting operating room functions in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrument handling, and preoperative processes
• Familiarity with assisting in surgical procedures across a range of specialties
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for procedures by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist the surgical team throughout operative procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses during procedures
• Ensure all equipment and instruments are properly counted, stored, and sterilized post-procedure
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards at all times
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize operational efficiency
• Participate in preoperative and postoperative care as needed

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
