Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Varied Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Trauma/Ortho/Surgical unit serving adult patients including trauma, orthopedic, urology, colorectal, and post-operative populations
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Document and manage patient records using EPIC EHR
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements — a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, with the expectation of being scheduled at least 2 of the 4 weekends
• Float to units with a comparable patient population when operationally needed
• Pass a dysrhythmia and math of dosage test administered by the facility education department prior to beginning work on the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with trauma experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EHR
• Ability and willingness to float to units with a comparable patient population as needed
• All Pennsylvania state clearances must be completed and clear prior to start, including: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PA State Police (PATCH) Clearance
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in trauma, orthopedic, surgical, urology, or colorectal nursing
• Experience caring for post-operative adult patient populations
• Flexible, team-oriented, and professional demeanor with a willingness to adapt to unit needs
