Space Force MUOS - Engineering Cost Account Manager (CAM)

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense SECRET security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamic Mission Sytems is currrently seeking an Engineering Cost Account Manager in our Scottsdale, AZ location.ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a Cost Account Manger on the Space Force MUOS program, you’ll work closely with a cross functional team responsible for successful execution of one of the multiple MUOS teams. CAM Specific skillsetsAssist in the successful execution and delivery of Task Order within cost and schedule parameters from CGN, as well as Sales and Margin expectations to GDMSAssist in the support the successful execution of Task Order (EVM Contract) as a CAMSupport generating briefing reports (internal/external)Work closely with Program Finance, Program Management and Deputy Program Manager of Engineering to establish clear financial expectations when developing the Fiscal Plan.Support development of the resource-loaded Control Account scheduleSupport establishment of Control Account Plans (CAPs)Request Open/Close charge #’sReview weekly labor reports for charging; reviews subcontractor data, including est. costs Support development of Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)Develop and manage performance measurement metricsWork with the Deputy Program Manager of Engineering and Engineering to status the schedule and develop estimate to complete (ETC)Support reviews with program team including Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR)Perform Control Account analysis, including rate impactsSupport Engineering Status Reviews and Program Management ReviewsSupport Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) preparation (if applicable)Excel and Power BI skillsetsProficiency with Advanced Excel Formulas: including INDEX/MATCH, COUNTIFS, macros for automating tasks, use of pivot tablesProficiency with Data Transformation and Power Queries in Excel and Power BIProficiency with Data Visualization tools in Excel and Power BI: Charts, graphsWhat sets you apart:Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling toolsCreative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutionsCollaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for successStrong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutionsCommitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and othersWorkplace Options:This position is either on-site or hybrid (3-4 days onsite and 1-2 off site)While on-site, you will be a part of the Scottsdale, AZ location#CJ1 Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
