Behavioral Health TherapistMaple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to improving our community's health by making quality comprehensive healthcare accessible to all. We strive to care for others as they want to be cared for.The Behavioral Health (BH) Therapist is a member of the Behavioral Health (BH) team that includes Integrated Social Workers, BH Therapists, Addictions Recovery Therapists, a Psychiatrist, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. They support the mission and values of Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) by fostering a healthy community, focused on the mental health aspects of care.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide ongoing BH TherapyDevelops clinical treatment plans for patientsCoordinates collaborative, integrated treatment plans shared with the care teamProvides ongoing therapy to patientsParticipates in regularly scheduled case consultation with other Behavioral Health professionalsMaintains appropriate and timely medical records for services rendered as a staff member at MCHCCConsults with care teams to provide support to providers for patients with BH related concernsImplements, coordinates and hosts groups as neededWhen not engaged in ongoing therapy, available to provide triage, consultation and support for clinic patients either in person or on the phone.Completes other duties that support our shared work, as assignedThis description does not cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activitiesRequired Skills and Abilities:Ability to work both independently and collaborativelyFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and team and organizational needs.Adaptable to a high intensity, stimulating, and fast-past environmentBilingual: Spanish/English preferredEffective interpersonal skillsExperience working in cross-cultural teamsEducation and Experience:Master's level training and licensure requiredLCSW, HSPP, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAC preferredCross-cultural training and experience to effectively function with the MCHCC patient populationExperience working with all age ranges preferredKnowledge and/or training in trauma-informed care preferred; training supportedMotivational Interviewing training preferred; training supportedBLS requiredRequirements:Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computerReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this workAdditional Requirements:We are required by federal law to verify identity and eligibility to work in U.S.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package (Retirement plan, health insurance, childcare reimbursement)Opportunities for professional development and growthA supportive and inclusive workplace cultureThe chance to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare experience in our communityHow to Apply:To apply for this position, please submit your resume and a cover letter that highlights your experience and how your unique background will contribute to our team.
