Enrollment Counselor

As an Enrollment Counselor, you are responsible for recruiting qualified candidates into American College of Education’s Masters, Doctoral, Certificate and Professional Development programs. You counsel prospective students through the full life cycle of the enrollment process, including initial relationship development, exploration of needs and personalized solution offerings, navigating the decision‑making and application process, and preparing students for long‑term success. Compensation ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage. The starting hourly rate is $24.00. Full‑time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Day to Day Responsibilities Conduct prospective student interviews, matching college benefits to student needs and providing accurate program information. Uncover prospective student motivations and concerns, overcoming objections through a consultative approach. Maintain consistent contact with prospective students while delivering the highest level of customer service. Use technology and established business processes; document all student interactions in CRM. Adhere to school/company policies, procedures, and federal, state, and compliance regulations. May work on special projects such as prospective student qualification outreach and support retention and outreach efforts post‑enrollment. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 3–5 years of enrollment experience. Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written. Ability to develop professional rapport with prospective students. Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines with high accuracy. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
