You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet systems, you will help support a professional, welcoming environment while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and reports. Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
