ETL Test Lead

Experience:
- Testing experience in Data Migration projects and executing and verifying ETL jobs (DataStage)
- Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution and Defect Reporting & Tracking.
- Strong database experience in Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2 and Teradata, extensive Backend Testing by developing, modifying, and executing SQL queries for data validation and data verification on database
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Data Analysis, Data Warehouse Architecture, tools and testing.
- Experience working in Scrum teams.
- Plan test scenarios to address QA Testing during the ETL Development phase , covering Metadata , script verification as well as transformation rules, Rules and source to target mapping verification etc
- Establish pre-requisites for testing including test data needs
- Key communication and coordination link between PMO, scrum development teams and the QA Resources within the scrum teams
- Manage defect triages and interfaces with Development partners as well as business teams to enable quicker resolution
- Based on agreed-to metrics, provide metrics and status reporting.
- Manage risks, issues and resolutions including mitigation and contingency planning for the work stream and elevate any risks and issues at program level to the overall test lead
- Participate in scrum & test planning meetings, leadership team meetings, project status meetings and walk-throughs
- Participate in design reviews, scrum team meetings, status and stand-up meetings
- Reviews requirements and create test plans as required that address test coverage and adhere to established standards
- Designs and executes test cases (if required).
