Logistics Associate

About the Role Logistics Associate – A key member of the Logistics team, responsible for ensuring smooth movement of materials, products, and information throughout the facility. This associate level position supports Kitting, Inventory, Stow‑away, Shipping, Receiving, and Transport functions with a focus on accuracy, organization, and teamwork. Responsibilities Support daily activities across Kitting, Inventory, Stow‑away, Shipping, Receiving, and Transport operations. Receive, label, and organize incoming materials and parts, including verifying quantities and part numbers. Assist with creating and delivering kits and sub‑assemblies to production areas. Support staging and preparation of outbound shipments and shipping documentation. Move materials and finished goods safely throughout the facility, maintaining clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage and work areas. Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines while completing daily tasks. Work closely with team members and other departments to help support production timelines. Assist with inventory counts and help report discrepancies when identified. Learn and safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners as trained. Maintain accurate records and reporting related to logistics activities. Data Management Use the company’s ERP system and scanners to complete logistics transactions accurately. Update inventory information and material movement records as needed. Assist with tracking kit readiness and inventory accuracy. Help identify and communicate shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect parts to leadership. Support basic reporting and documentation related to logistics activities. Qualifications & Skills Dependable, organized, and willing to learn new processes and systems. Enjoy hands‑on work and being part of a fast‑paced team environment. Pay attention to detail and take pride in accuracy and organization. Communicate well with others and are comfortable asking questions when needed. Willing to learn how to use warehouse tools and equipment, including scanners and forklifts. Proactive and willing to jump in where help is needed. Physically capable of moving parts and navigating warehouse conditions during high‑volume periods. Prior warehousing, manufacturing, or inventory experience is helpful but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, several times a day. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to operate a forklift or be trained to do so.
