Maintenance ManagerResponsible for Facility, Stamping and Welding MaintenanceEnsure daily maximum production quantity and qualitySupport the policies, goals, and objectives of the companyPlan and schedule project timelines relating to all maintenance activitiesConstant monitoring of processes for improvement activityParticipate in New Model equipment specifications, implementation, validation, and process developmentEnsure efficient manpower balanceNegotiate and oversee all contracts relating to Maintenance DepartmentDevelop, maintain and oversee the proper implementation on Preventive Maintenance ActivitiesDevelop Training Schedules for all Maintenance AssociatesMonitor, assess and develop improvement plans for Maintenance Skill LevelDevelop Business Plan for overall Maintenance DepartmentCreate, Monitor and implement cost savings activitiesWork with other departments in responding to customer complaintsOversee and monitor all work being conducted by contractorsMonitor, assess and ensure the facility is in compliance with all state, local and federal regulationsWork with departments and support all activities to make sure the company maintains its ISO/TS/IATF certificationsReport monthly metrics to upper managementBe available and support as needed for emergency equipment issuesReport per escalation policy for equipment issuesParticipate or designate a participant for improvement meetings for welding and stampingOther duties as required by managementQualifications:Bachelor's Degree (BS) from an accredited University and two years of related technical experience and/or training; or five years of equivalent combination of education and experienceEnvironmental & Physical Demands:The environmental conditions and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
