Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Mixed-acuity PCU

Schedule
- Shifts: Days and nights
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years
- State RN License required (must be in hand to submit)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred: PALS, TCAR
- Experience with EPIC charting required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, performing interventions as needed.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and monitor responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO (Request Time Off) limit: 7 days MAX
- Background checks: Reviewed case-by-case
- Orientation: 12-hour orientation required
- Modules: Pre-start modules may be billable up to 5 hours
