Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current CT Technologist experience

License: Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Medical Board

Certifications: Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and/or Computed Tomography (CT)

Must-Have:

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of CT equipment.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Anatomy and Physics.
• Must possess a working knowledge of computer software applications.
• Must be able to demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors.

Description:

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility will have a local rate. The role requires a high level of proficiency in Computed Tomography. The candidate will be expected to follow safety protocols and ensure patient comfort. Teamwork and effective communication with other healthcare professionals are essential. The position is responsible for performing CT scans and conducting quality checks. Documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines are required. The technologist will engage with patients to explain procedures and address concerns. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to meet operational needs. Professional development and continuing education are encouraged.
