Nxt Legaci and Nxt Legaci Gaming are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our growing team!
Located in the heart of Times Square, our stores specialize in trading card games, collectibles, gaming, pop culture, and live entertainment. From product launches and tournaments to celebrity meet & greets and our signature Legaci Expo events, we're constantly creating new experiences for our community. We're seeking someone passionate about content creation, video editing, social media, and digital marketing who can help bring our brands to life across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of turning everyday store activity into engaging content. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Video Editing- Film, edit, and produce engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Edit raw footage into polished content using transitions, captions, graphics, music, and engaging storytelling.
- Capture and edit product showcases, new arrivals, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Produce promotional videos, event recaps, talent announcements, and social media campaigns.
- Create thumbnails, cover images, and branded graphics for digital content.
- Edit photography for products, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Repurpose long-form footage into multiple engaging short-form clips.
- Maintain consistent visual quality, branding, and professional production standards.
- Assist the Director of Marketing with executing daily and weekly content calendars.
- Schedule and publish approved content across social media platforms.
- Create Instagram Stories, promotional posts, and announcements for products, tournaments, and special events.
- Write engaging captions and ensure all published information is accurate.
- Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Identify emerging trends, viral content opportunities, and creative ways to increase engagement.
- Assist with promotional graphics and digital marketing materials.
- Capture photo and video content during tournaments, product launches, meet & greets, and Legaci Expo events.
- Create promotional content for upcoming celebrity appearances, special guests, and community activations.
- Produce quick-turnaround event-day content and post-event highlight videos.
- Coordinate with the Events Coordinator and Tournament Organizer to identify content opportunities.
- Work with the Marketing team to maximize exposure and engagement surrounding major events.
- Work directly under the Director of Marketing to execute assigned projects and campaigns.
- Coordinate with retail staff and the Inventory Manager to highlight new products, restocks, and major releases.
- Maintain organized folders of raw footage, completed edits, graphics, and marketing assets.
- Track content performance, including views, engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Identify successful content formats and recommend creative improvements.
- Meet production deadlines and complete revisions efficiently.
- Previous experience in content creation, video editing, social media, or digital marketing preferred.
- Strong video editing skills and understanding of short-form content.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and current social media trends.
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar programs.
- Basic photography, videography, and graphic design skills.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable filming in a busy retail and event environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and adaptable.
- Advanced Video Editing: Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, motion graphics, or advanced editing techniques.
- Photography & Videography: Experience with professional cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and production setups.
- Graphic Design: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design software.
- Social Media Growth: Experience growing social media accounts, creating viral content, or managing brand campaigns.
- Livestreaming & Production: Familiarity with OBS, livestream setups, podcast production, or multicamera recording.
- Trading Card & Gaming Knowledge: Familiarity with Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, sports cards, video games, and collectibles.
- Pop Culture & Entertainment: Interest in anime, gaming, conventions, celebrity appearances, and entertainment trends.
- Digital Advertising: Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, paid social campaigns, or performance marketing.
- Multilingual Abilities: Fluency in additional languages.
- On-Camera Experience: Comfortable appearing in videos, conducting interviews, or hosting engaging social media content.
