Part Time 3rd Shift Grocery Stock Clerk

Job Overview Harris Teeter Isle of Palms SC is hiring full‑time and part‑time associates for day and weekend shifts. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking products according to grocery standards, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. Responsibilities Process, package, and stock products in accordance with grocery standards. Clean work areas and maintain a clean environment. Unload stock from shipments and reload salvage. Provide customer service and meet customer needs. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. One to three months of related experience or training. Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to complete required training. Ability to read, comprehend, write simple instructions and correspondences in English. Mathematical skills: ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers using American money and weight measurements. Reasoning ability: apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and solve simple problems. Certification: Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge. Physical demand: regular standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, and reaching 6–72 inches. Must have good vision including close vision, color, and depth perception. Work environment: exposure to wet, hot, or cold conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; moderate noise level.
