Job Description:The Marketing Team at Shield AI is hiring a Slide Designer to design high-impact presentation decks primarily in PowerPoint, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives. You will take rough content, outlines, and stakeholder input and transform them into polished, presentation-ready slides with strong structure, hierarchy, and flow. This role requires a deep focus on storytelling through slides, balancing clarity, visual precision, and executive-level polish across a range of use cases.You will partner closely with marketing, business development, product marketing, and solutions engineering teams to shape messaging and build effective presentations from the ground up. A core part of the role is owning and maintaining key PowerPoint assets, including templates, slide masters, reusable components, and flagship product decks. You will help evolve scalable template systems and slide libraries to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment across the organization.In addition, you will apply advanced PowerPoint capabilities such as custom layouts, animations, transitions, charts, and visual systems to elevate storytelling. You will iterate quickly on feedback, balance high-volume, fast-turn requests with more strategic, high-visibility presentations, and maintain organized files and version control. This role also requires careful handling of sensitive or export-controlled material when applicable.Required qualifications:Strong information-design skills, including selecting the right visual form for quantitative, technical, and conceptual information.Experience building and maintaining scalable PowerPoint templates, slide libraries, and flagship product or sales decks.Demonstrated ability to translate rough sketches, whiteboard concepts, technical diagrams, and incomplete inputs into clear, polished, brand-aligned visuals.Experience designing charts, process flows, system diagrams, timelines, frameworks, and other complex presentation graphics.Ability to simplify complex information without distorting the underlying meaning or removing essential detail.Strong stakeholder-intake skills, including asking clarifying questions, identifying the intended takeaway, and resolving gaps or ambiguity in source material.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or another vector-design tool for creating custom presentation graphics.Ability to build reusable, editable visual components in PowerPoint—not just place flattened artwork into slides.A portfolio demonstrating before-and-after transformations of complex content, data, or rough source material into effective presentation visuals.Preferred qualifications:Experience creating Excel-linked charts and translating complex quantitative data into accurate, easy-to-understand visuals.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma for creating custom visual assets.Experience translating technical sketches, system concepts, or engineering inputs into polished diagrams and presentation graphics.Understanding of how presentations support product marketing, business development, sales, and solutions engineering.Experience designing for technical, B2B, aerospace, defense, or other complex product environments.Familiarity with accessibility and data-integrity best practices in presentation design.Experience creating editable, reusable PowerPoint components that can be used effectively by non-designers.$82,000 - $120,000 a year#LI-AD7#LCFull-time regular employee offer package:Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + EquityTemporary employee offer package:Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
