Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a primarily Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Perform and interpret remote telemetry monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5–6 in accordance with unit standards
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to any affiliated campus as needed to support patient care across the health system
• Complete a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed) prior to or during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Charge RN experience preferred
