Work Environment
This position operates within a remote setting, giving you the flexibility to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while engaging in a collaborative online environment with fellow clinicians and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health status and diagnose conditions as necessary, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that respect the cultural diversity and specific needs of patients, aligning goals with effective therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor and document the progress of patients, conducting regular evaluations to adjust treatment strategies as needed, thereby ensuring the efficacy of mental health care.
- Foster collaborative relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and referrals, enabling patients to access comprehensive support systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of treatment interventions, progress notes, and other necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute insights to case discussions, enhancing the therapeutic impact and team collaboration.
- Support the development of future professionals in the field by providing education and mentoring to students, interns, and volunteers, thereby enriching our community and the mental health profession.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a therapist at Sitka Counseling Services, you'll work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program and a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure are required.

- Strong analytical and clinical skills necessary to design, implement, and assess treatment outcomes effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
