Enjoy a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting students’ communication development across grade levels. This engaging role involves delivering speech-language therapy to a small caseload of six students, working two days each week. In addition, you’ll conduct assessments for four new students during the assignment. The position extends throughout the full school year, providing consistency to learners from kindergarten up through 8th grade.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly valued
• Confidence working with students of varying ages, from early elementary through middle school
• Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students in accordance with their individual education plans
• Administer assessments and write evaluation reports for four new students as requested
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student progress
• Manage documentation, reports, and necessary IEP updates
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed to serve the caseload
• Maintain a positive, student-focused approach and adaptability throughout your assignments
