- Analyze financial transactions and perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare accurate journal entries and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Maintain schedules related to assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses to support accurate financial reporting.
- Review contracts and agreements to determine appropriate accounting treatment and financial statement impact.
- Reconcile and maintain subledgers while ensuring supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing and providing required documentation.
- Partner with Finance colleagues and internal stakeholders to research accounting matters and support organizational initiatives.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, streamline reporting, and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to less experienced accounting team members.
- Assist in coordinating assigned accounting projects, audit activities, and operational accounting processes to ensure deadlines are met.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience working with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
