Human Resources Director

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Director of Human Resources (HRD or higher) to lead and scale HR operations for a growing, multi-site, nationwide organization (4,000+ employees). This is a high-impact role partnering closely with executive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements
- Currently or most recently at HR Director level or higher
- Experience supporting 3,000+ nonexempt hourly employees (required)
- Proven experience in multi-location, nationwide organizations
- Hands-on expertise across:
- Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll
- HRIS systems & reporting
- Training & Development
- Litigation support (PAGA, class action, EEOC, DIR)
Core Responsibilities
- Lead all HR functions across multiple locations
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce strategy
- Oversee HRIS, compliance, and reporting
- Drive recruiting, retention, and engagement strategies
- Manage and develop HR teams across regions
Nice-to-Have
- Automation and AI implementation
- Offshore team structures
- Data-driven decision making
- M&A / due diligence experience
- Exposure to EBITDA management
Role Details
- Location: Upland, CA (5 days onsite)
- Compensation: Up to $210,000 base (DOE)
- Travel: 10–15%
